Anabolic steroids such as Anavar (also known as Oxandrolone and AnVar) are extremely potent drugs and should always be handled with
a great sense of care and diligence. This is simply because over-dosing or use
of low grade Anavar can easily lead
to Anavar abuse and side effects that may require medical attention. It is for this reason that all Anavar users
are advised to use this anabolic steroid only after a medical practitioner has
approved its use after complete medical examination and for legal purposes.
The anabolic steroid is medically
prescribed for providing significant relief to patients suffering from health
problems such as alcoholic hepatitis, anemia, AIDS, muscle wasting, and Turner
syndrome. Since use of this steroid is associated with lean appearance and loss
of extra body weight and fat, it is often used by sportsmen to catch up and
even stay ahead of the competition. However, some sportsmen and individuals
commit the mistake of using the performance enhancing drug without developing a
clear understanding about it, which leads to Anavar abuse and side effects.
When used for prolonged periods or
indiscriminately or of low grade, Anavar
can lead to side effects such as bloating, testicular atrophy, diarrhea, mood
swings, depression, libido changes, vomiting, nausea, acne, liver failure,
liver cysts, menstrual irregularities, and liver tumors.
It is important to note here that
individuals having existing allergy to the steroid or any of its ingredients
should avoid using it, unless otherwise specifically recommended by a medical
practitioner after evaluating all medical reports and history. Individuals
afflicted with liver problems, disease of the arteries of the heart, heart
failure, low HDL cholesterol, enlarged prostate, kidney disease, neoplasm of
liver, or visible water retention should not use this drug and children and
pregnant or breastfeeding women should also abstain from using this weight loss
drug.
In order to avoid Anavar abuse and side effects, the steroid should never be used in
excess of the instructed dosages. In addition to that, two dosages of Oxandrolone should never be taken
together even if the first was missed due to negligence or unknowingly. In such
cases, only the second dosage should be taken and the first one should be
avoided and thereafter Anavar users should follow the routine dosage schedule.
In case symptoms of Oxandrolone abuse
such as persistent stomach pain, dark urine, yellow eyes, or yellow skin are
experienced by the user, use of the steroid should be discontinued and medical
advice should be sought without delays.
